Hollow Ponds, Leytonstone

Team-member Brooke took Hank and Luna on a jaunt to Hollow Ponds last week, and they gave it a big tail-wag of approval. This peaceful pocket of Epping Forest offers tree-lined paths, plenty of squirrels to spot, and – if your pup’s feeling brave – dogs are allowed on the rowboats!

📍 Closest station: Leytonstone or Wood Street

🐾 Dog-friendly rowboats available

Epping Forest

One of the most magical places to be in autumn. With plenty of ancient woodland, Epping Forest is perfect for adventurous pups who love to roam. After your walk, swing by The Oyster Shack & Seafood Bar nearby – they're dog-friendly and serve up some delicious post-walk treats for the humans.

📍 Start point: Theydon Bois or Chingford

🥾 Off-lead friendly in most areas

The Cheshunt loop is a scenic trail that loops around tranquil canals, woodland paths, and charming little islands. It’s peaceful, spacious, and a favourite for dogs who love variety on their walk.

🚶‍♂️ Distance: 6km loop

🐾 Quiet and off-lead friendly in most areas

Parkland Walk

The Parkland Walk is a leafy 4km route that follows a disused railway line. Expect autumnal tunnels of trees, old platforms, murals, and the famous 'Spriggan' sculpture. You can extend the walk into Alexandra Park or Highgate Wood if your pup is feeling energetic.

📍 Start point: Finsbury Park or Highgate

🐕 Watch out for bikes!

🗿 Look out for the Spriggan statue!
